Donald Johanson is speaking at the Natural History Museum’s First Friday event tonight. Sure, there’ll be a band later, and other fancy schmancy things, but folks, this man found evidence of the origin of our species in Ethiopia. He’s an anthropological/paleoanthropological rock star. (Who gets to claim that? Now that the Leakey’s are pretty much gone, not too many people).
