Yo, I got hoodwinked by our court system and I’m seated on a jury all next week. They give an hour and a half for lunch, which means a lot of sitting around being bored downtown. All you kids who were disappointed by GLOW should have just come to DelbertShoopman.com’s birthday party. There was a lot of beer AND it wasn’t in Santa Monica! Two fantastic things.
My Glow Review
Since everybody’s asking about Glow, I thought I’d send you all a link to my review of the event. It pretty much sums up what everybody experienced during the fest: Extreme Fail of the Highest Order.
The organizers should be banished from the City of Santa Monica and dumped off at Skid Row. It was just that horrible.
WatchEasily the coolest thing at Glow. I got there around 10:30, and I could only handle it for about an hour. I don’t mind crowds, but there were wayyyyyyyyyy too many people for Santa Monica to handle. Cool concept, just ridiculously overcrowded.
Other high point: Watching the fish spawning on the beach. Hot.
GLOW
I was way too hungover to make it out, but my friend Stevie went with some of our friends and said it was pretty horrible.
No artists, no music, just a shitload of people.
Did anyone go to GLOW Saturday night? I’d love to hear about it, as I’m a lazy bastard and went to a screening of DARK KNIGHT and then went to bed instead.
